Batavia Wedding

Batavia is a city in Kane County, Illinois. The population was 23,866 at the 2000 census. Fermilab is located in Batavia. A 2002 special census put the city's population at 25,153. Batavia is part of a tri-city area, along with St. Charles and Geneva.

Batavia has one public high school, one public middle school and six public elementary schools.

The racial makeup of the city was 93.21% White, 2.42% Black or African American, 0.11% Native American, 1.35% Asian, none Pacific Islander, 1.53% from other races, .3% apophis and 1.09% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.27% of the population.
